Under my proposal, the United States would expel Texas from the Union and replace it with the District of Colombia. This would have the following advantages:
1. End whining from Texans.
2. Save money by not requiring a change in the number of stars in the flag.
3. Allow District residents to be fully represented in the Congress.
4. End whining from Texans.
