At a moment when many dozens of world leaders marched arm in arm in a demonstration of unity with our brothers and sisters of the Enlightenment, the leadership of the United States of America was absent. We are a people that has proudly striven to be a Shining City on a Hill, and yet we were missing from the streets of the City of Light. We call for an explanation from the President.
