Why does the Government, these so called 'anti-gun' organizations and individuals believe that banning guns is actually a solution for preventing violent crime? Indeed, guns just like any other weapon can be used to incite great bodily harm. It's no myth that guns do in fact have the ability to kill and maim. There's no denying this. There again, there's no denying that someone who is actually intent on doing such heinous acts, will be prevented by such a measure. In reality, all this is doing is making the lawful, helpless. Placing the lawful, at the mercy of those whom wish to do harm to others. The only way to prevent anybody from this, is to erase conscious thinking. Some people are naturally evil and robbing others their rights does not prevent evil people from doing evil things.
