I'd like the administration, and the rest of America, to ask ourselves what aspect of marijuana is more, or even equally harmful, as the substances that are already regulated in our society?
Marijuana has proven in case-controlled studies over large populations -- without use of other substances (namely tobacco) -- that there is no percentage increase in rate of cancer even in comparison to smoke-free individuals. THC works as an anti-cancer counteractant to the carcinogens in the plant material. This was reported about as early as 4 years ago by a former head of DEA, Donald Tashkin. Tobacco increased cancer rates by 20 to 25 times normal.

Marijuana, and hemp with it, should be discussed maturely.
