If cannabis (marijuana) is without medicinal use, the President should be able to justify why the US Gov't owns a patent on cannabis drugs (Patent 6,630,507: Cannabinoids as Antioxidants and Neuroprotectants). If this contradiction cannot be explained away, then cannabis should be taken off the Schedule 1 list.
