It would seem the importance of this issue speaks for itself. All over the media we hear reports that the US is suffering from back breaking debt problems, and China is always the focus of those problems.
Why don't we hear anything (from official or media channels) regarding the massive amounts of debt the Chinese have owed the US since the end of WWII? How can we let China get away with demanding that new governments in Libya and Iraq continue to pay their debts to China when they have flat out refused to pay us back for saving their collective behinds back in the 40s? The numbers I have seen published in what few reports I could find suggest that anywhere from $750 billion to $2 trillion could be at stake, and that is a staggering amount of money.
