Mylan Pharmaceuticals defrauded medicaid, the DoJ quickly settled for far less than it should have, didn't require an admission of guilt, and gave them a 6 month grace period to continue paying a lower rebate amount.
Wells Fargo fraudulently created millions of fake customer accounts, the settled for a nominal fine and again, no admission of guilt.
Wells Fargo cheated its customers out of their hard earned money by reorganizing the overdrafts so that your highest balance charge would go through first, causing cascading overdrafts. They settled for a nominal fine, barely paid any restitution, and again admitted no guilt.
