We the people ask the federal government to Tell us what the federal government is doing about an issue:

Explain why the DoJ fails to go after large companies for illegal practices.

Created by C.N. on October 12, 2016

Mylan Pharmaceuticals defrauded medicaid, the DoJ quickly settled for far less than it should have, didn't require an admission of guilt, and gave them a 6 month grace period to continue paying a lower rebate amount.

Wells Fargo fraudulently created millions of fake customer accounts, the settled for a nominal fine and again, no admission of guilt.

Wells Fargo cheated its customers out of their hard earned money by reorganizing the overdrafts so that your highest balance charge would go through first, causing cascading overdrafts. They settled for a nominal fine, barely paid any restitution, and again admitted no guilt.

The administration needs to explain why the DoJ is so toothless. Why aren't the people responsible for engineering these frauds in jail?
