The president is the one person with the ability to address the nation and sway public opinion. Currently there are endless myths, lies and superstitions regarding the federal reserve system such as:
Explain why quantative easing is NOT printing money.
Explain that the treasury prints money- NOT the fed.
Explain to the gold nuts why we went off the gold standard and why it wont accomplish what they think it will.
Until the president steps it up there is going to be a void that politicians, gold sellers, talk-show hosts and the like are all too eager to exploit.
