Please explain, or have a member of the US Senate explain why the Full-Faith-and-Credit clause of the US Constitution allows a drivers license from one state to be valid for transit into and around another state, usually up to some pre-defined limit of residency, but a marriage license issued to a same-sex couple by that same first state, confers no familial rights, such as hospital visitation. in that same second state.
