The United States Government gave the creation of health.gov website contract to a Canadian Company behind closed doors and refuses to explain why this was not sent for an open bid per The Competition in Contracting Act of 1984. (CICA) There are many reputable American companies that could have done this job for less than the over 90 million that it cost to create and manage. I want to know what the dealings were behind this deal between the US government and this organization. Provide all information about this contract including but not limited to, costs comparisons used to make decision, bids, reason for picking Canadian Company, special interests and any other information not asked but is pertinent to the topic.
