Explain why the president does not intervene when innocent people are executed.

Barack, in many criminal cases experts are fairly united in agreeing that justice was skewed but you choose to ignore the experts and defer to our hillbilly courts.

A few months ago, Rodney Reed was about to get the needle when his attorneys pointed out that lividity in the victims body indicated that the victim's police officer fiance had lied about the events surrounding the crime. Further, this evidence was so obvious, corpse lividity is something every forensic worker notes, that it seems likely that law enforcers deliberately mishandled evidence to protect one of their own.

Now everyone knows a police officer probably committed the murder but still no one wants to charge him.

Another case a few weeks ago was Lester Bower. R.I.P.
A lot of experts think he was probably not guilty.
