We, the undersigned, all duly registered real estate appraisers with the Registry of the Appraisal Subcommittee, demand that the Attorney General of the United States, together with the Attorney Generals of each State, Commonwealth and Protectorate of the United States conduct an investigation into the exploitation of all registered ASC appraisers to wit:
Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) are exploiting appraisers by having appraisers submit to non- federally or state authorized background checks that have already been conducted by the respective states prior to the issuance of an appraisers license and affirmed to by appraisers as having no arrests, convictions or indictments prior to the issuance of an appraisers renewed license. We please this matter be investigated by the US A.G.
