Small scale fusion energy is within reach. I refer in particular to the Focus Fusion experiment in NJ. It deserves our support, at least to prove if it is technically viable. To date they have made incredible strides despite poor funding and a lack of resources. From all reports I've seen they are the closest to achieving the long sought Q>1 energy breakthrough that has long eluded this world wide effort. For this to be allowed to stall now would be a national and human tragedy, and a disgrace to our nation. The promise is too great to ignore.
