We would like to see the Federal government explore different options in order to reform the system used for national elections. Currently the United States of America uses a combination of a "First-Past-The-Post" voting system and an electoral college, where each voter votes for one choice, and the choice that receives the most votes wins, even if it receives less than a majority of votes. There are alternatives such as preferential voting methods. We believe this will be beneficial to 3rd parties and allow more choices in national elections.
