Congress is stuck in a bi-partisan deadlock. Individual Congressmen are simply too beholden to connections made throughout their often extremely lengthy terms in office. Whether it be to extreme constituents or lobbies, our current Congress is too entrenched on both sides for anything truly productive to occur. We need new faces cycled through in order for new laws to be passed. It's not so simple as it seems, and I realize that, but I would ask the White House to consider exploring options to limit these individuals time in office.
