To explore the possibility of creating a commission tasked with the study of legalization of schedule I substances.

Created by E.D. on August 15, 2013

The Obama administration, alongside Congress, must consider working towards legalizing most schedule I substances (marijuana and its derivatives by example) for personal, adult use. personal use of controlled substances by individuals should not be criminalized and rather, rehabilitation and education can be better alternatives to imprisonment.
Also, individuals who use marijuana to treat certain life-threatening problems should not be prosecuted, instead, medical investigation should be pursued in the interests of health and society.
