North Korea attested United States to be its “sworn enemy” and that its missile and nuclear tests are targeted at our great nation. This is no longer a matter contained to the Far East or to our allies. This is a threat against our People.
We must prepare ourselves for the potential need to act preemptively to exercise our inherent right to self-defense. A more explicit demonstration of our willingness and capacity will deter DPRK, and send a decisive message to other foes. This action will also equip us with the necessary preparedness to respond effectively if and when it becomes necessary.
