TO EXPUNGE POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA CHARGES DUE TO LAWS PASSED FOR RECREATIONAL USE.

Created by S.L. on October 12, 2015

For years laws in certain states have been passed for medical use.  On top of that laws in some states have already been passed for recreational use.  Why should a person have to carry for the rest of their lives a criminal record when in the eyes of some states marijuana is now a legal substance?  Carrying a felony keeps individuals from getting a job.  With constant rejection a person will start to feel discouraged for even trying to apply for a job this then increases our unemployment rate.  Now with the future release of some thousands of inmates some including cocaine cases, which cocaine is still illegal!  New laws need to expunge cases of "possession of marijuana", since we now have the LEGAL right to use it recreationally.
