Extend the 2006 mortgage forgiveness debt act to 2015

Created by K.J. on October 18, 2013

The mortgage relief act is set to expire December 2013. The people of the US that are still in need of mortgage assistance can not afford to pay taxes on the difference between the short sale price and the loan amount. This is ridiculous. If someone needs to short sell a house that means they can not afford the mortgage payment, so why would the government think we can pay taxes in hundred of thousand dollars? Ridiculous. Do the right thing.
