Extend 2011 Social Security Payroll Tax Holiday for those making less than $100,000

Created by L.K. on January 04, 2013

In this uncertain economy those in the middle class are hurting attempting to make ends meet. In 2011 as a stimulus to get the economy growing the government passed a 2% reduction on social security taxes reducing the payroll deductions on the average worker from $25-$100 per month. These tax breaks ended on Jan 1, 2013. We the people propose that the President, the Senate, and the House work in a bipartisan method to extend these tax breaks on those making less than $100,000 per year. This will have the effect of reducing the impact on our economy that removing this money from the average worker's salary could have.
