Currently in 38 states it is legal to discriminate against LGBT individuals in the workplace. They can be terminated simply for being gay or transgender, even when they are outstanding employees. The sheer ignorance or bigotry by an employer shouldn't end a persons career, leave them unable to feed their families or put them on the street. We must act now and prevent this blemish of discrimination and hate from continuing into another generation.
