Extend Brock Allen Turner's Prison Sentence

Created by C.A. on June 07, 2016

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/07/us/outrage-in-stanford-rape-case-over-...

Brock Allen Turner of Stanford University raped a young woman and was given a too small sentence of six months in prison, three with good behavior. It was claimed that he is "a young man with no prior convictions and covered by less intense media coverage", not to mention the incorrect comment that he has more moral culpability than the young woman he raped just because she was intoxicated. Intoxication of a victim is no excuse for rape or lack of a proper prison sentence.

Turner should be given at minimum three years in prison for his offence. His involvement in sports, or anything, should be given excuse to lack of a proper prison sentence.
