Veterans who were supposed to be covered by the VA after there service ended should recieve extended care.
Soldiers returning receive, I believe, 2 years of complete care if they meet tax requirements. I was one of them,
I did not know this till my first year was up. It took me some time to decide to seek health care because of my PTSD, but with a little push and shove my Mom got me to go. I was getting ready to leave for school in Phoenix and based on what I was able to research, there VA was one of the best. During my past year and a half, I have been seen 1.....ONE time! Now we know why. Veterans like my self don't deserve this and we should be given extend care to make sure we are properly cared for.
