Extend Concurrent Receipt to Chapter 61 with less than 20 years but more than 15 years.

Created by J.M. on September 01, 2015

We are asking the Administration to extend concurrent receipt to Chapter 61 medical retirees who have less than 20 years of creditable service but more than 15 years and have a rating of 50% or more from the VA. Military personnel can already apply for early retirement at 15 years and be eligible for concurrent receipt, however if a service member is medically retired after 15 years of service they are not eligible, this is unfair to those who have service connected disabilities that resulted in their forced retirement from military service.
