Please extend Emergency Unemployment Compensation. Jobs are very hard to find. Especially for those with my background. I was laid off from my job on 12/28/11. Found a lump 2/8/12 and have been dealing with breast cancer treatment ever since. Whose going to hire some one who's having to go thru a month of tests, then 5 months of chemo, then a mastectomy, then hysterectomy, not to mention severe depression, anxiety, and memory loss.
While others may not have my exact history, I am sure there are others with similiar circumstances. I do want to work and pay my own way. Always have in the past and want to continue to do so, But I need the time you get myself and my mind healed,
