We are requesting that the Obama administration extend the HAMP, MHA and other loss mitigation programs designed to assist homeowners in staying in their homes beyond 2013. We wish for these programs to be extended for a minimum of 5 more years.
As many are aware the banks have been reluctant to grant any relief to many qualified home owners, often dragging out the process for months and months. Many homeowners denied mortgage loan modifications for unjustified or bogus reason after nurmerous application submissions.
Since MHA /HAMP is scheduled to end 12/31/2013 it is believed that the banks willintentionally draw out the modification process until the end date of the program and then deny homeowners..leaving them no recourse and end up losing their homes after all!!
