Extend High Speed Internet options to rural areas of America. The current services are unacceptable for the price.

There have been multiple promises from previous administrations to extend high speed internet services to the rural areas of America. Massive mergers such as the merger of AT&T and BellSouth had such a condition to provide high speed internet to more rural areas in order for the merger to be approved by the FCC. Since its merger was approved it seems as if there have been little to no effort to make this happen. The current options for those in rural areas such as satellite internet is not worth the money, having to pay more for a service that limits the amount someone can use the internet and have inferior speeds.
