To relieve the increased burden placed on today's Americans by progressively faster communication and more complex professions, we request that the Obama Administration extend the length of the day by two hours. The stress resulting from having too many tasks to complete in too few hours could be mitigated if more time were allotted. In today's professional world, which primarily functions in artificially lit buildings and already communicates across time zones, a day not quite in sync with the sun or the rest of the world is not an insurmountable inconvenience. The increased productivity of a more rested populace may help account for such inconvenience.
