Extend the Making Work Pay tax break to employed college students.

Created by K.R. on September 22, 2011

Under current tax codes employed college students who are claimed as dependents on their parents' taxes can NOT take advantage of the making work pay credit even though as single, non-parenting people under the age of 25 they have to claim their parents' income on all financial aid. Our students who are attempting to work their way through college deserve this benefit at least as much as those who have dropped out, failed out or just stopped out of pursuing a higher degree of education.
