Dear President Obama:
Please extend the weeks for unemployment benefits. Many citizens are relying upon unemployment to provide for their families. The money is used to keep utilities on; feed their children; transportation costs for job interviews, doctor appointments. The people on unemployment are looking for jobs. We have seen the amount of negativity coming from major corporations who are laying off or firing employees because they do not want to pay decent wages, help cover costs for health insurance or pay taxes at a higher rate when they are making billions of dollars in profits. The percentage of U.E. benefits also needs to be raised.
