Extend Public Secondary Education for High School Students with Disabilities to include 2 years of College Prep School

Created by D.R. on March 24, 2012

Students with disabilities who wish to go to college must now pay out of pocket for additional college prep school in order to gain the necessary skills to help them self advocate, complete college level courses, navigate a college campus and cope with independent life away from home. This presents a barrier to a college education for many capable students with additional needs that are not met in a typical public high school education.
