Extend the repeal of DADT to include Transgendered individuals.

Created by D.M. on July 17, 2013

Since the repeal of DADT the military has been making changes to accommodate for its now openly serving homosexual members. However transgender individuals still have to serve in secrecy. As seen by Kristin Beck, the former Navy Seal who recently came out as being transgender, transgender/transsexual individuals are forced to serve in secrecy. Why is it that America does not have any way for transgender people to serve yet countries such as Canada allow transgender individuals to not only openly serve, but they help with the transition process. Thank you for your time and I know that you can't really do anything based off of these petitions, but a response on this pressing issue would be comforting at the very least.
