Extend the right to vote to Lawful Permanent Residents

Created by R.H. on September 07, 2012

Lawful Permanent Residents cannot vote in any federal election. Voting or registering to vote is a federal offense; one which can lead to imprisonment and/or deportation.

Permanent residents pay money to become such, and therefore should be extended the right to cast a ballot for who they believe should make decisions for them and this country.

Permanent residents also cannot call the Whitehouse comment line to leave a comment regarding this; another privileage extended only to an American Citizen.
