extend the student loan tax deduction that is set to end in 2012.

Created by K.B. on December 03, 2012

Student loans are an expensive cost to many graduates. People have graduated to face high loan payments which they struggle to meet.

The student loan deduction that can be applied even to the standard deduction provides needed relief to graduates. The Tax Relief Act of 2010 extended the student loan deduction through 2012, but it is going to end for those more than 60 months from graduation.

This deduction is counted on by those with high loan payments, please continue the deduction beyond 2012.
