Inasmuch as all citizens are due a fair trial, which includes officers of the court not being under the undue influence of medical substances while executing their duties, it is still a tragedy that the families of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom must endure the re-trial of the criminals who savaged and brutalized Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom before callously killing them.
Therefore, we the undersigned ask that the President of the United States to publicly and sincerely extend his condolences to the families of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom as they go through this trial.
