In September, the number of signatures required for a petition to be heard was 5,000 over a 30 day time table.
As of October, however, the number of signatures required jumped to 25,000 but the time table remained at 30 days.
This is an attempt to squelch our voice and basically exclude any petition from ever being heard because most petitions (in my estimate around 98%) never reach 25,000 signatures in 30 days.
If you are going to up the signatures required, you will need to up the time table. Otherwise this whole petition thing you are offering on your website is a farce.
