We as small businesses, with minimal financial resources, are requesting that we may have a minimum of 24 months to submit our claims to the insurance companies and third party payers for reimbursement of funds. With new changes in healthcare we have been forced to keep up with the mandates allowing us very little time to bill for services and be reimbursed for the services provided by us. We, as small solo practices are unable to survive this crisis of mandatary laws and provide quality care to our patients, forcing us to either sell or dissolve our practices.
Kindly let us survive , provide us additional time for sumitting claims rather than allowing large insurance companies to deny claims and keep the funds that are due to us. Allow us to provide employment, pay taxes and survive.
