Extend the total lifetime amount of Pell Grant funding a student may receive.

This petition is for an extension in the total lifetime amount of Pell Grant funding a student may receive. The limit is currently 6 years, but students with good grades (3.00 or higher) should be given an extension. Life is not always clear when a student first begins its journey towards the path of adulthood, and sometimes there are some missteps along the way. Some students have clear goals when they start at a university, others begin courses they don't even like just to please mom or dad; but to many of us, mid way in our college lives we rediscovered ourselves, and begin to see life with new eyes. To those who for some reason or another have had to study well beyond the 6 year mark, if they reflect a good grade point average, they should be allowed to keep receiving the Pell Grant.
