We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Extend TRICARE coverage for military dependents until age 26

Created by P.L. on August 26, 2016

Under the affordable care act, insurance policies that cover dependents continue coverage until the age of 26. With TRICARE, veterans and military families can only keep dependents on the plan until 21, and after that only those enrolled in college/university are able to keep coverage until 23 or graduation, whichever comes first. Then, the fee is $300 per month per child to continue coverage until 26. Those who have served or are continuing to serve this country should not have to worry about their children going without insurance. The government should provide them with the same benefits they expect private companies to provide the people.
