Extend Unemployment Benefits

I NEED an extension on my Unemployment!!! I am a single woman aged 57. I am currently seeking employment and attending classes at a local Community College to upgrade my marketability in these times. I have worked ALL MY LIFE and been in Property Management and Sales for over 30 years. I live in Springfield Illinois and jobs aren't exactly falling out of the sky here. I have no small children so I don't qualify for any kind of public aid.....which will now be overburdened by others with kids who aren't getting their unemployment now either. I am having to contact community resources and essentially beg for help on my electric bill. Long story short.....without my Unemployment benefits I will be homeless, my credit will go in the toilet and I will be dependant ON ANY HELP I CAN GET!
