The unprecedented silence and inaction by our elected officials and the main stream on the issue of 1.2 Million unemployed family providers is unconscionable. We have worked hard for the benefits and deserved notice that they would be denied when the economic environment remains unchanged. It is particularly difficult to accept when it is our previous employers and elected officials who have supported and legalized the devastation of our economy. Give us a chance to keep our homes, cars, phones so employers can find us!
