Extending Food and Rent Aid to Recent College Graduates Struggling to Find Gainful Employment

Created by C.C. on November 18, 2013

Recent college graduates are struggling to find gainful employment.

I propose that recent college graduates be provided with:

-Food and Rent aid if they are struggling to find gainful employment

-Government sponsored programs to aid in obtaining gainful employment.

Analysis by The Associated Press states that about half of young college graduates are either unemployed or working in jobs outside their college majors, many of which don’t require a college degree.

About 1.5 million, or 53.6 percent, of bachelor’s degree-holders under 25 last year were jobless or underemployed.

These recent college graduates are struggling to make ends meet. I propose that food and rent aid benefits be extended to recent college graduates who are struggling to make ends meet.
