My Social Change group is working on poverty and we want to help parents be extending maternity leave and still let them still get paid. We think this will help because a lot of parents need time to take care or their kids until they are old enough for baby sisters and day cares. This can help because they need help with buying formula, clothes and diapers. Even fathers get over worked so they should help too. It is hard for them because they work hard during the day and have to go home to take care of a baby. So extending maternity leave can help both parents and the child which can make a change change in our community and help solve poverty.
