FAA Safety and "Cargo Cutout"

Created by P.R. on April 21, 2016

Right now FAA has 2 levels of safety for pilots. Passenger pilots are required to have more rest than cargo pilots. This is true even though each set of pilots operates the same types of equipment and use the same airspace. Tired pilots are unsafe pilots. The FAA should have 1 level of safety: passenger pilots and cargo pilots need the same rest requirements. Do not allow FedEx and UPS to save money while putting everyone's safety at risk. A plane could crash anywhere. Explaining why cargo pilots don't have the same rest requirements would not be well received by grieving families because FedEx and UPS wanted to make more money. This is a no-brainer. Thank you.
