face an impeachment proceeding for violating the law and exchanging prisoners without prior Congressional approval.

Created by R.F. on June 02, 2014

president obama and secretary hegl violated the law when they agreed to a prisoner exchange with the taliban without congressional approval. Their excuse was that they had to move fast and bergdahl's safety was at risk.

When someone violates the law without regard for the consequences and believes they are doing the right thing, they also know that they will have to face the consequences and defend their decision.

It is time for this president to do just that. Stand before the nation and our representatives in Congress for an impeachment proceeding. obama will have the opportunity to explain why the law was violated and the American people will have the opportunity to decide whether the decision to go around the law was justified or not.
