Fair Paid Time Off standards for elected officials

Created by C.P. on August 17, 2014

Elected officials - all Congressmen, Senators, and the Vice President and President should have paid time off and vacation allowances similar to other government employees. Military members receive only 30 days of vacation per year - if that is good enough for our man an women in uniform, that should be more than enough for politicians who make 2-3 times the average pay. Additionally, there should be reform WRT how much the executive branch can spend for vacations on the taxpayer's dime.
