Fairly interpret the 2nd Amendment for both advocates and opponents of our Right to Bear Arms.

Created by J.P. on December 23, 2012

The American people's defense against a tyrannical government is the Constitution of the United States. That document alone empowers the citizenship with freedoms untouchable by any man. Unfairly interpreting one of these Amendments is considered an affront to the American ideal of freedom. However, the 2nd Amendment has recently come under attack due to recent tragedy. Banning specific weapons and making them legally inaccessible will not prevent the gamut of criminals from conducting crime. Inert, lifeless, non-moving objects are not responsible for the loss of life. The propensity for murder is not proliferated or nurtured merely by the existence of a weapon. We implore your administration to justly and fairly interpret the 2nd Amendment and not make law abiding citizens suffer.
