Currently the Congressional Job Approval is in the realm of 16.4%. I propose all elected officials receive the percentage of their salary that matches the average approval rating as shown by the link below.

Furthermore, the portion of income they do not receive as a penalty for low rating will be donated on their behalf directly to the deficit.

assuming 16.4%
93M * 83.6% = 77,823,240 donated directly to the deficit.
If they can't find away to reduce spending and take from my pocket, lets take from theirs. This drives them to actually make the people happy if they want to earn their money. Plenty of people live on 30k a year, so can they!
