While it is important to protect our children by enforcing child support from the non-custodial parent. It is also important to follow "family law 12-204" It states that a "third party dependency payment" paid on behave of a disabled individual will offset and go towards the child support obligation.
I am disabled and very limited income, my ex-husband makes substantial earnings, and i was ordered to pay child support $100per month(which i do not dispute)and he is receiving a "third party dependency payment" $569 on my behave. however, the court would not apply the family law 12-204 and recognize the "third party"
