Family Law

Created by D.T. on April 29, 2012

What is "Family Law" and Why is important? "Child support" is very controversial and has created hatred for many citizens. While it is important to protect our children by enforcing child support from the non-custodial parent. It is also important to follow "family law 12-204" It states that a "third party dependency payment" paid on behave of a disabled individual will offset and go towards the child support obligation.
I am disabled and very limited income, my ex-husband makes substantial earnings, and i was ordered to pay child support $100per month(which i do not dispute)and he is receiving a "third party dependency payment" $569 on my behave. however, the court would not apply the family law 12-204 and recognize the "third party"
Should the courts be obligated to follow the law!?
